'I Want to Dwell In Ancient Times'

I want to dwell in those ancient times,

When life was strange and life was bright,

There was not a single soul that wept and lived in woe,

Fruitful was the age of youth,

With all friends and no foe,

Tranquil and serene was the life,

With no worries and no fights,

With happiness and delight,

Each new day was a perfect one,

Unknown was the cacophony of the busy strife,

Of the towns and cities alike,

There was not a ruining life,

One lived in true paradise,

With beloved once one did dwell,

From dawn till setting sun,

Around the fire, in the sun and in serene moonlight.
